An Appeal At the beginning of the year 2006, five years after our expulsion from the Jamaat, I would like to address a few words to my Ahmadi brothers and sisters around the world in particular and to the Muslims in general. I request you all to read carefully what I have written. I pray that Allah opens your heart to Truth and that He guides you towards the right path.

CONTINUITY IN THE ARRIVAL OF REFORMERS It is important for every sincere, god-fearing, prophet-loving Muslim to whom Islam and Faith are very dear to know that Allah, the Almighty gave to His beloved prophet Mohammad saw the glad tidings of an unending blessing for his umma. In Sunan Abu Daoud Hazrat Abu Hurairah ra reports that the Holy Prophet saw said: « Surely Allah will raise at the head of every century someone who will revive His Religion. » Hazrat Mirza Bashiruddin Mahmood Ahmad, the 2nd caliph of the Ahmadiyya Mouvement has explained in his book Ahmadiyyat or True Islam : “Everyone who believes in one of the revealed religions should also believe that Allah has sent many prophets at different times in the world. Hence there has never been even one nation to whom a prophet has not been sent from Allah. The spiritual development of mankind rests entirely on this group of people. Without them there would only be darkness in the world. In the Holy Quran Allah says: “There has not been any people to whom a Warner has not been sent” Ch 25 V24. We believe that this succession of prophets will continue in the future as it has been in the past because reason rejects the notion that it can be permanently stopped. If humanity needed a prophet it is more in need of it today because religion has become a meaningless word and truth so to say is rather dead. Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, the Promised Messiah as has taught us that the door of revelation is always open and that the present times calls for a prophet.” I AM THE MUHYI-UD-DIN OF THIS ERA For this era someone has already come responding to the divine call by proclaiming: I am the Muhyi-ud-Din (reviver of religion) of this era by the Grace of Allah and not because of my personal merits. I am a recipient of divine revelations. God has sent me to attract men towards the truth in matters which concern faith, morality, knowledge and good behavior so that they may obtain a special force in all spheres. I have come to make you lead an easy life. Your life is more important to me because my aim is to see to it that you lead a happy and fruitful life. OBJECTIVES OF THE ARRIVAL OF A MUHYI-UD-DIN Allah sends a Muhyi-ud-Din in order to draw you nearer to Him, to strengthen your relationship with Him. To try to know the Muhyi-ud-Din of this era is part of your destiny. I have come to repair the ancient road that leads man to His Creator. It is my wish to lead all those who have gone astray back to the right path and to save them. I have come to save your virtue and your saintliness and to guide you to the Goal. I, Light, have come in the world so that anyone who believes in me does not stay in darkness anymore. I have been born for this purpose. I have come into the world for this purpose: to be a witness to truth. I have come in order to undo whatever Satan has done. Oh my brothers and sisters I am the one who gives a new impetus to the religion ( Din ).I drink directly from the water of life ( Ab-I-Hayat ) and my words and my deeds will revive all internal and external Islamic teachings. I will lift the Holy Quran after others have leveled it to the ground. I will follow in the footsteps of the Holy Prophet Mohammad saw . Through him the beauty and the life of religion ( Din ) will be reborn for the Ummah. I have come to redress the world; therefore I have to assemble all those who are sick and treat them in my “hospital” and give them back mental health, courage and wisdom and to send them back to their place in life. I have to increase your devotion for Allah, increase your faith and rebuild the basis of your moral character so that you may fight temptations with greater confidence. I have met people who just recite a prayer and they think that whenever they pray they are drawing the world nearer to peace. But peace can only be achieved only through the hard way, that is to say, by eliminating all violence and greediness from men's hearts. RELIGION IS AGAIN IN DECLINE On 20 th February 2003 Allah revealed to me His identity and the divine mission: “Oh descendant of the religion of Islam ( diné islam ), whenever there is a decline in religiousness at any place in the earth and irreligiousness spreads, I send someone imbued with the Holy Spirit ( Rou-hil-qoudous )” In another revelation Allah has said to me: “Each time when religion is on the decline and each time when evil spreads around the earth and irreligiousness prevails spirituality is in decline and men are engrossed in materialism and neglects spirituality, Allah sends a messenger from heaven to guide humanity and to show it the right path. The lost ones are brought back and God's religion is reestablished on earth. Some times this messenger brings a new code of law and some times he re- establishes an old one.” Of course after the arrival of the Holy Prophet Mohammad saw there is no new code of law. The Holy Quran will suffice us until the end of days. The one who gives a new birth to religion arrives from time to time in order to save the pious and destroy disbelief and reestablish the principles of religion. THE DEPLORABLE STATE OF THE WORLD In this world where material worries and lack of spirituality piles up, where there is an accumulation of emotional deficits, moral vacuity and spiritual emptiness…. In this world where combats, wars, famines and natural catastrophes are born…. In this world where vanity joins forces with pride, where selfishness joins forces with indifference, where individualism joins forces with vice and corruption….. In this world where moral, religious and spiritual values are quickly disappearing and where what is good is forced to eclipse itself in front of what is bad…… In this world where what is normal becomes abnormal and vice versa where the exception becomes the rule, where everything is accepted and is allowed….. In this world where tyranny, dictatorship, fanaticism and intolerance are built into systems, where deception is lawful and has its adherents ….. In this world of corruption, of disrespect and resignations at all levels: both of the leaders and of the followers, of parents and children, of adults and young, ones of the youth and those who are younger….. In this world where the values of piety, kindness, generosity, solidarity and efforts are devoid of meaning in the mind and hearts of those who hear about these and sound hollow in the mouth of those who are its proponents….. In this world of intellectual, moral and spiritual negligence and laziness, where the meaning of the word virtue ( birr ) and piety ( taqwa ) is no longer known…… The Holy Quran and the sunna of the Holy Prophet Mohammad saw appear to me to be the lay out path that will allow one to survive, to cling to what remains as a life buoy. This is the path that promotes human values. THE TASK OF THE MUHYI-UD-DIN When a Muhyi-ud-Din or a Mujaddid comes, his main task is to try to get spiritual benefits through the Holy Spirit ( Rouhil quddous). What is a Muhyi-ud-Din if he is not here to help man to reform himself, to correct himself morally, mentally and spiritually. In brief to reform himself morally ( Islah ), to improve himself, to behave in a better way, to exhibit better moral character, better family relationships, better social relationship and better professional relationships. The aim of the Muhyi-ud-Din is nothing but to make man a better man, a human being worthy of that name and in at a second stage to make a Muslim a real Muslim. What we miss dearly in our time is humanity. The Muhyi-ud-Din tries to take man to a level where all his potentials are developed as a human being and as a believer. He strives to give man back his will to strive, to respect himself and others, to understand his place in creation, to know his worth as a human being and the role that he has to play. Under the wise and efficient guidance of a spiritual master known as the Muhyi-ud-Din, under the enlightened counsels of this competent guide, man treads the path traced by the Holy Quran – the Sirat Al moustaqim - and he puts into practice the recommendations of the holy prophet Mohammad saw whose example he tries to unflinchingly follow as best as he can. THE METHOD USED BY THE MUHYI-UD-DIN The Muhyi-ud-Din proposes spiritual methods based on the Holy Quran and the Hadiths. This is the path of the Muhyi-ud-Din based on adequate exercises, personalized practices, divine directives that promote noble sentiments and good actions ( Akhlaaqé Hamida) such as belief in destiny, conviction( yaqîn ), reliance on Allah( tawakkoul ), contentement with what befalls us, patience( sabr ), gratefulness( shukr ), self denial( isaar ),renunciation( zuhd ), sincerity( ikhlaas ), piety( taqwa ), virtue( birr ) beneficience ( ehsaan ) etc. In a word, all the virtues and morals of knowledge and action that may benefit oneself and others. The Muhyi-ud-Din has also as their task to extract all bad feelings, condemnable inklings and reprehensible acts ( akhlaaqé razila ) such as ostentation( riya ) or false devotion, arrogance( kibr ), jealousy( hasad ),anger( ghoussa ), hate and rancor( kina ), avarice( boughl ) greediness( hirs ), ungratefulness towards Allah and others, megalomania( hubbé jaa ) and love of wealth( hubbé maal )etc MEN OF GOD ARE PERSECUTED Read the Holy Quran with attention. Read the history of ancient prophets. You will learn that there has always been an opposition against the men of God. They have been insulted, oppressed, persecuted and slandered. Their enemies hatched many plots to humiliate them and to stop their activities. But all the enemies' plans failed. In the end the prophets were always victorious. This is a formal promise from Allah: “Allah has decreed: Most Surely I will prevail I and My Messengers. Verily Allah is Powerful and Mighty.”CH 58 v 22 OPPOSITION AGAINST US Today when we see the storm of opposition that broke out against my brother Mokarram Zafrullah Domun and me, when we see the slanderous insults that have been leveled at us, there is a huge increase in our faith. If I had not been insulted, if there were no opposition against me, you could have doubted my claims because Allah says in the Holy Quran: “Alas for My servants! There comes not a Messenger to them but they mock at him”CH36 V31 My brother, Zafrullah Domun and I have been expulsed from the Nizaamé Jamaat on first January 2001.My brother has been qualified as “stupid”. Revelations coming from Allah have been qualified as “so-called revelations”. Both of us have been cursed and it has been said that we will meet with a “fearful destiny”. And yet our beloved prophet forbad any of his followers to curse anyone! Some self-proclaimed champions of the Nizaamé Jamaat took it upon themselves to give us an idea of their acidic tongue when they spoke in the manifold assemblies of the jamaat . The tone of their voice and their language closely resembled politicians at public meetings not to mention Pakistani mullahs launching their invectives against Ahmadis. We commit this affair in the hands of Allah. He knows better how to deal with them. If you think you will eliminate us or combat us, let me tell you clearly that Jamaat Ahmadiyya Al Mouslemine is a tree that has been planted by Allah Himself and Allah's Hand will neither prune it nor cut it down. Those who try to cut down this tree oppose Allah and they will definitely fail in their endeavor. They should rather beware of the dire consequences that may follow. Allah has told me: “Oh Muhyi-ud-Din wail and moan to Me because of this enemy; because you can chase him away only with My Absolute Power. This is My Law! Oh My servant even though you are weak in front of its hostility, nonetheless do strive and do not reconcile yourself with him. Be always at war with him, and as much as you can struggle with him and beseech Me for My Succour with supplications and humility. When you ask for My Help from the depth of your soul and with a sincere heart, I send My Power to your hands and I make them strong and overbearing so that you may cut the head of that opponent with My Power and the sword of sincerity. Therefore in fact it is not you who kills him but it is I who kill and I praise you and consider you as a hero. And I reward you with a mantle of honor, with gifts and eternal kingdom and that is the salary for the task that you have accomplished. You may say “ Oh My Lord, it is not I who have done this. Where could I have found such force and such power to face this enemy? This opponent has opposed You, Allah, and he has discussed with You. Oh my Lord! Whereas I am very weak and lowlier than a straw, how can I remove such a mountain, crush it into small pebbles and throw it to the wind like dust and earth? Allah The Highest has told me: “When My Force attaches itself to a straw, mountains become less than an atom in front of it. But since you, while being very weak and without means have shown your loyalty to Me and relying on Me you have faced this enemy and you considered Me to Present, Seeing, Domineering, because of this I have changed your weakness into strength. I accept from you and am obliged to you. But in fact it is I who have done everything. It is like the father who affectionately plays with his child. He puts a heavy burden in the hands of the child and he takes his hand and lifts the burden; then he congratulates the child and congratulates him by saying: “What a hero you are! Congratulations! How strong you are!” Although, in fact it was the father who lifted the burden and not the child. It would be surprising that to The Creator who I am that My Love and My Generosity and My Tenderness should be less than that of that creature. Therefore I grant power to My Servants and I guide them so that due to My gifts and My Guidance they are able to chase away the enemy. And whatever anger I show and whatever pain that I inflict it is to avenge these good servants. If someone helps them, he is helping Me. He who has seen them has seen Me. He who attacks them attack Me. He who chooses them chooses Me. He who is hostile towards them is hostile towards Me. And to whomsoever I show anger in hell or to whom I cause pain it will be because of the pain and suffering that My servants suffered at their hands. Because I am God, no one can oppose Me and no one is like Me. I have created servants and I have allowed them to come to me so that they become the mirror of My own Being.” MY DECLARATION I, Munir Ahmad Azim, the Muhyi-ud-Din of this era declare that Allah is Alive and He loves His Creatures. Religion is the means through which man can obtain God's Love and establish a relationship with Him. Therefore only that religion can be called a living religion, which can establish a relationship between man and God even in these days. That religion which cannot establish a direct relationship between man and God is a dead religion. The greatest proof that there is a relationship between man and God is that God speaks to man. For example if someone knocks on the door of a house, the doors of which are closed, he will only receive an answer if there is someone inside. But if there is no one inside he may knock until the end of time without hearing any reply. Therefore, if God exists, and definitely He exists, there is no doubt that He replies to the one who knocks on His Door and His beloved will definitely hear His soothing Voice. Therefore the religion which confers this blessing on humanity is a living religion. This religion is no other than Islam and by following this religion man may hear the sweet voice of His Creator. Hazrat Massih Maoud as , has through his own life given the proof that Islam is a living religion. He has said: “My Beloved, My Lord speaks. If somebody wants to witness this sign he should come to stay with me for some time. He will definitely see such a sign.” And today, by the Grace of Almighty Allah, I also am making this declaration that if someone wants to know the Living God who answers our prayers and who has power over all things, let him contact me. Incha Allah I will give him the proof of the existence of Allah If Allah wills and if his quest is sincere. THE CONTRADICTIONS IN AHMADIYYA ORTHODOXY For more than a century the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association has taught that Allah speaks with men, that the door of revelations is open and will remain open forever. And according to Ahmadiyya teachings the institution of revelation and the coming of prophets continue even after the Holy Prophet saw Nowadays they have taken the caliph as their idol. They make as if the caliph knows what is invisible and he knows everything. They think that Allah will not talk to anyone but the caliph. Their beliefs are now different from their teachings. The teachings of the Promised Messiah have been reduced to dust in their hands. It is a pity that they blame heaven but they do not accept their own mistakes. They have rejected the Holy Quran, they have put aside the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet Mohammad saw and the teachings of the Promised Messiah as . If the teachings of one or several caliphs contradict the teachings of Hazrat Massih Maoud as or the Holy Quran or the traditions of the Holy Prophet Mohammad saw , it is your duty to reject such teachings. The teachings of Allah and His prophets should be given priority in all circumstances. Hazrat Massih Maoud says in his book “The Will” page 11-12: “It is imperative that pious people in the Jamaat should take bait in my name after my departure. It is the intention of Allah to assemble all the souls who are pure, and who inhabit the different regions of the globe, be it in Europe or Asia . He wants to unite them on divine unity and assemble them under His unique religion. This is the objective for which I have been sent in this world. Therefore you should pursue this objective through politeness, good manners, and supplications . And as long as someone does not stand up with the Holy Spirit ( roohil quddous ), you should all work together after me.” Try to understand this oh you who are endowed with understanding. ACCESS TO DIVINE KNOWLEDGE Does the Holy Quran not say that only the sincere believer ( Mo'min ) can acquire the knowledge of the Holy Quran and that the latter supports the true believer. The Holy Quran says: “This is a perfect Book, there is no doubt in it; it is guidance for those who fear their Lord.” CH 2:V3-4 Only truly righteous people can find guidance in this Book and their efforts will be crowned with success. Therefore those who are guided by the Holy Quran are those who would be guided to victory and they are the truly pious. Those who can not find any guidance in the Holy Quran, those who do not have any argument are not pious people. The Holy Quran says again: This is, indeed, a noble Quran; In a well-preserved Book Which none shall touched except those who are purified (Ch56 V 78-80) According to this verse touching the Holy Quran means delving into it and understanding it. Or else even a Hindu and a Christian can touch it. He can buy it with his money and handle it. Who can prevent him from doing so? But he cannot access the knowledge of the Holy Quran because this knowledge is given only to those who are pious. All of you, who know me since a long time, please try to reflect. I am a weak person full of sins. I have never learnt French (original text is in French) at this level and I have never studied theology. I swear by Allah that it is He who teaches me these words of wisdom. He has told me in one of His manifold revelations that inundate my heart day and night: My heart is in prostration at the door of Divine Presence…. And I am but a humble servant of the ‘ Al Haqiqa al Mohammadiyya' , the Mohammedan Truth which is the ultimate and perfect manifestation in history. Do you think that I would have been able to address you in these words without the Help of Allah and without access to this sacred science? THE DAY OF DEPARTURE FROM THIS WORLD WILL COME When a person is born he brings nothing with him. From the mother's womb comes out a soul clothed with a body. This body shares with the human soul all its joys and pains. If the body is wounded or ill, the soul is similarly afflicted. If the soul grieves or is anxious, the body is not in peace as if the body and the soul are both are intertwined. But when death comes the body and the soul are separated. Think well! What else remains attached to the soul? Neither father nor mother, brother, sister, children, wealth, society, community caliph, amir. No one stays with the soul. Only man's good deeds which he accomplished with a sincere heart for God's sake will be of help to him. Therefore, my brothers and sisters accept truth and be not afraid of anyone. Do not rely on anyone and do not expect anything from anyone. Allah only is sufficient. According to your amir and his supporters you think I am a liar. But what if your amir and his supporters are proved to be liars and I am a the Muhyi-ud-Din of this era and also a recipient of divine revelations; what will be your fate on the day of resurrection and what will be the reply that you will give to Allah? SOME ADVICES My dear companions, brothers, sisters and friends This world is a house that is bound to disappear, do not attach your heart to it, and prepare for your place in the tomb. You came here to adore Allah but you are engrossed in earthly pleasures. You have become blind and to which youth are you exercising a right to? Do not destroy the years of your life in sin and hurry to get yourself to be forgiven. Where are your parents and grand parents of whom you are a descendant? What has happened to the most beautiful, the strongest and the most intelligent amongst men? If after all this you remain blind in your arrogance, you are indeed very naïve. Accomplish good deeds; be regular in your prayers and think of Allah with every breath. Only these good deeds will be of help to you at the end of your life. Do not submit yourself to Satan and be disobedient to your Lord. Be a servant of the Holy Prophet Mohammad saw if you want to achieve the supreme objective of your life. Submit yourself to the shariah and protect yourself from sins. Oh my friend, terrible is the condition that awaits the oppressor, the thief and the adulterer. Eat what is allowed ( halal ) and refrain from everything that is forbidden ( haram ). Spiritual progress is possible only through piety (taqwa) and this is an eternal blessing. If Allah has sent a Muhyi-ud-Din to you it is for your own good because He loves you. He wants you to be saved. Be not of those who are the first to reject a Divine Message. Who besides the Muhyi-ud-Din ( khalifatullah ) can give you good advices? How can you remove the love of the world from your heart without the arrival of a Muhyi-ud-Din? The Muhyi-ud-Din is the one who has submitted himself to the Shariah. He exhibits exceptional moral qualities. His heart is extraordinarily enlightened. He is an embodiment of cordiality and courtesy. If you desire you Lord, if you desire faith, be quick, get hold of the hand of the Muhyi-ud-Din. To accept a good piece of advice is also a part of faith. NOW WHAT IS YOUR CHOICE? Today by Allah's Grace, I take Allah as witness to say that I am one of those persons who speak with the Holy Spirit ( rouhil qouddous ). It is indeed a great proof in favour of Hazrat Massih Maoud as that Allah has raised someone in his Jamaat to guide people towards him. In fact the spiritual heritage of Hazrat Massih Maoud as has been bequeathed to us. However as at today the physical heritage is in the hands of others. Now it is up to you to see of which heritage you want to partake. The caliphs are the administrators of the Jamaat after the departure of a prophet until Allah sends someone else. Listen well my brothers and sisters, I swear that there are no lies in what I say and I do not have any ulterior motive. You should all repent sincerely; you should once again return to the Holy Quran and the sunna of the Holy Prophet Mohammad saw and to the teachings of Hazrat Massih Maoud as . Allah has chosen me as the Muhyi-ud-Din of this era. Therefore you should supplicate and I am fully confident that He will give you a sign. Then you will have to accept this truth and follow me. Then you will tread on the straight path and your relationship with Allah will become firm. Your heart will confirm that you have met God really. I have been raised to continue the work of Hazrat Mohammad saw and Hazrat Massih Maoud as . I beseech you to follow the advice of Hazrat Massih Maoud as . He says in his book ‘ Asmaani Faisla' : “To accomplish my task of delivering the message, I would like to tell you that seekers of truth who are afraid of divine punishment do not blindly follow the mullahs of this era without making any research. They have to beware of the mullahs of the latter days because the Holy Prophet Mohammad saw has asked us to beware of them. Be not surprised at their fatwa because there is nothing new in these fatwa. If you have doubts on this humble servant, if you doubt the truthfulness of my claims, I am going to show you a simple method that will remove your doubts. Incha Allah, by using this method a true seeker of truth may find solace in his heart. First of all, at night after repenting sincerely ( tawbatoun nasouh ), he should read two rakaats nafil . In the first rakaat he should read surat ‘Yasin'(ch36) and in the second rakaat he should read surat al ikhlaas (ch112) of the Holy Quran twenty one times. And then he should read Daroud and Istighfaar three hundred times (300) followed by this prayer: Oh You The All Mighty and The Generous You are aware of what is invisible whereas we are not. Someone who is accepted or rejected or who is a fabricator or a true one can be so only through Thy Knowledge. Therefore, with utter humility, we beseech you in order to know the truth about this person who says that he is the Promised Messiah, the Mahdi and the Mujaddid of this era: Is he a true one or is he a liar or is he someone that you have approved of or someone you have rejected? Through Thy Grace please inform us about him either through a dream or a vision or a revelation. Consequently if he is rejected by Thee we will protect ourselves from going astray by accepting him. However, if he is approved by Thee, we will protect ourselves against perdition by rejecting and humiliating him. Protect us against all sorts of trials since all power is in Thy Hands. Amîne You should pray like this seeking Allah's Help for at least fifteen days. But in order to do it you should purge yourself of all the impurities of the ‘self'. The reason is that if someone is full of enmity and bad thoughts about somebody else and he wishes to know something about the latter in a dream, Satan intervenes and according to the degree of filth already present in his heart, it will inspire him with even darker thoughts. Hence the situation of this person becomes even worse than it was before. Therefore if you want to ask Allah about something, you should wash your heart of all sorts of rancor and enmity. You should get rid completely of your ‘self' and also of the two elements of love and enmity and then seek the light of guidance from Allah. And, undoubtedly, in conformity with His Promise, Allah will send you His Light wherein there will be no smoke of doubt that will come from the self. Therefore, Oh ye seekers of Truth do not allow yourselves to be ensnared by the trials that the mullahs represent. Wake up and make some efforts and seek help from the One who is All Powerful, Capable and The Guide of humanity. Now I have done my duty by giving you this spiritual message also. In future it is for you to see what you will do. Let peace be upon he who follows guidance. A SECOND METHOD If the above exercise is too difficult for some persons I recommend to you another exercise that has again been prescribed by Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Massih Maoud as and Promised Messiah. This prayer should be read with an impartial heart for a period of forty days before going to sleep. O My Lord if this man who claims that Thou has sent him to re-establish the true faith of Islam on earth, by presenting it under its true perspective and thus inciting men to believe in it, has really been sent by You, therefore show me (evidence of his being true) who being ignorant of all real facts, cannot reach a proper conclusion concerning Truth. I beseech You, O Truth, Thou who art the Source of all truths and Oh Guide, who is the source of all guidance and Oh Merciful One who dislikes seeing His creatures in trouble, please manifest this truth to me. ( Le Mouvement Ahmadiyya en Islam p 80) You can change the words so that they may apply to me and I am sure that Allah will give you a sign that will be evidence of my truthfulness provided that you are sincere in your quest and that you are well-intentioned. A PRAYER O Allah grant us sincerity ( ikhlass ), respect for others ( ikraam ), regularity and firmness ( istiqamat ), modesty ( tawazou ), humility in the hope of Allah's Grace and Mercy ( inkesaari ). Oh Allah grant us peace in our heart and around us. PLEASE MEDITATE Hate, envy, enmity cannot find any place in my enlightened heart Deaf to his call, men have become the enemy of he who God sent as their best friend. I am but a branch of the tree of Unity It offers to passersby its most generous fruits Because of their criticism, if the sharp stones allowed a free harvest to fall upon them We will not blush We will bless the hand that has acquired such a priceless spoil
