In the Name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful
TOWARDS UNITY
Our hope is found in a well-established society on which our future generation shall have a seat of honour, a seat of harmony so that in turn they can stand up and preach the same values to their offspring, and thus the world little by little can open up to the exquisite essence of peace and unity as written in the Books of Divine Laws.
Humanity is in Danger! People do not realise how much, little by little they are falling prey to a world of glitter, having neither basis for the future nor a future. God the Great has created mankind in the best of forms, yet man himself persists in destroying himself through his own inventions which he thinks is a genius creation. An example would be inevitably armaments which he builds up so that he may “protect” himself, yet he forgets that he kills someone of his own essence with the same armament. In other words, he does not realise that he kills himself. If Cain had not killed Abel as mentioned in both the Bible and the Holy Quran, then humanity would have been free of such bloodshed! Yet, it happened because if there is goodness, then there is evil also which manifest itself as a trial for mankind. He is made to go through trials of all kinds so that his mettle may be tested and that his good or evil nature may become manifest with time.
People destroy one another, and very often so for greed of power. Islam has always preached peace and it requires that there be no forcing people to accept this religion. If a person integrates Islam, then it must be by his own free will, not by any menace or fear. But it is unfortunate today, that humans are fighting one another, and Muslims are not exceptions. They fight among themselves in such ways which brings a shadow on the pure image of Islam; yet Islam is not to be blamed. If there is someone to be blamed, it is their own selves, which propel them to dismantle the teachings of God, the Supreme Creator. If armaments are fabricated, then it should not be for the excuse of protecting oneself. Protecting oneself only comes with trust in God and letting God deals with justice upon anyone of His servants. If there is justice to be made, then the sanction comes from God as established clearly in His Books of Laws. People sometimes ridicule the laws of God as established in the Holy Quran, saying that it is an ancient Book, a much too violent Book which encourages bloodshed. But if God had not imposed a certain limits in His Book, then the world would have been immersed literally in bloodshed.
Jesus (peace be upon him) encouraged peace as well as Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the other prophets (peace be upon them). They were the emissaries of peace, and not war. Today we are alive, ready to brave the world, but tomorrow our place – a restricted place – is the tomb. This is one essential fact which so many people forget or don’t care to meditate upon. Every day in this world, we witness birth and death. Birth and death happen according to time and circumstances. Between birth and death, man develops various relationships at the physical level. He identifies himself with the body and gets carried away by the feeling of “I” and “mine”. This is a grave mistake. These relationships last as long as the body exists. Once the body perishes, what happens to these relationships? True relationship is at the level of the soul and not at the physical level. Prior to birth who is related to whom? What happens after death? Man is unable to realise divinity. As he is enmeshed in worldliness and a great extent of hate against his own species (humankind), he is unable to comprehend the transcendental principle.
If only once he could look at himself from the eyes of purify, of selfless identity, he can then identity what is wrong with him and his ways of dealing with his own self and life in this temporal world. If he forgets his source of life, then how can he ever be grateful for the life he gets? And if he forgets that people like him are from the same source, the Divine source, then his hand would tremble before hurting his brother (of any faith). All in all, man brings either his own happiness and blissful eternal life or he brings upon himself his own doom. Humanity is in Danger! Let us all as one body stand up to save our own selves from the evil of our own selves so that our future generations may live a generous life, a more spiritual life which shall bring upon them the pleasure of our Maker. It is better to learn one verse of the Divine Scriptures and practise it correctly than to read the whole books and yet fail to practise a single lesson. Pure love emanates only in a heart brimming with peace because in a peaceful heart there is an atmosphere of purity and divine harmony. He who gets a drop of divine favour is the one who will reach the destination safely.
May God hear our supplication and let us be one like His unity always. Let us be like the river which only goal is to reach the sea in spite of the many obstacles on its way. Amen (Ameen).

Comments Par Saud Qadir (non vérifié) | 7 novembre, 2012 - 05:26 Unity is a beautiful concept. I think, Sunnis and Shias need to be speaking from the same platform. With years of Islamic education for an inceasing number of Muslims, the obvious failure of traditional socio-economic systems, the shift in geo-political "tectonic plates", the situation demands that Sunnis back the position of the Islamic State of Iran in its proposition for a "nuclear-free Middle East", and its position against neo-Liberalism. There are no differences in the Sunnis and Shias roles as "vicegerants of God on Earth". We both believe in the arrival of the Mehdi. With all intents and purposes it would seem that the Shias are more geared towards preparing the way for his arrival. Iran produced such efficient, effective and highly spiritual leader as Khomeini. As far as I can remember there has not been his equivalence among the Sunnis. As the civil war rages in Syria and the neighbouring states, any idea of resolution should not be conceived without Iran playing an important role in it. Which ever way a Sunni wants to look at it, Iran is the best bet for an outcome closest to the spirit of the Sunna.
