Text Box: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Friday Sermon HAZRAT AMIR’UL MOMENEEN MUHYI-UD-DIN AL KHALIFATULLAH Munir Ahmad Azim 04 June 2010 (20 Jamadal Aakhir 1431 Hijri) (Summary of Friday Sermon) After having greeted everybody with the Salutations of Peace, the Khalifatullah read the Tashahhud, Taouz and Surah Al Fatiha and then he said: وَالَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَلَن يُضِلَّ أَعْمَالَهُمْ ۝ “And those who are killed in the way of Allah – He will never render their works vain.” (47: 5) We, the members of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam, after what happened last Friday 28 May 2010 about two hours in the afternoon in Pakistan, these attacks shall ever remain etched in our hearts. We, the Sahih Al Islam, must feel that intense suffering for it happened to our very own brothers, sisters and children of the same faith as us – those who believe that Prophet Issa (on him be peace) has died as explained in the Holy Quran (mentioned in 30 places) and in the Hadiths (the sayings of our beloved Prophet – peace be upon him), who hold the belief that prophets will continue to come till Judgement Day and that divine revelations shall descend also (Among them, there are those who have rejected my claim as the Chosen Messenger of Allah – but this is not the subject of my sermon today). Today my sermon will be focused on what happened last Friday 28 May 2010 in Pakistan at the time of Jumu’ah. That day commandoes armed with bombs, grenades and powerful guns forced their ways into 2 Ahmadi Muslim Mosques in Lahore where the Ahmadi Muslims were gathered together to perform their Jumu’ah. These evil-doers aimed at our brothers, sisters and children and the latter became the innocent victims in the name of Islam, and they found themselves amidst bloodshed. It is a shame for these terror attackers that they bypass performing Jumu’ah so that they may come and kill innocent Ahmadi Muslim worshippers in two Mosques in Lahore. In the name of Islam, they are spreading false notions of this pure religion for their own vanities and presenting Islam as a religion of terror and intolerance. Among these commandoes there were three of them who even were suicide-bombers. O Allah, give these Ahmadi Muslim martyrs a better and higher place in Paradise! Ameen. We have seen how in the month of August 2009, these evil-doers and the police of Pakistan had erased the Kalima (Shahada) from the Ahmadi Muslims Mosques in Pakistan. They did not hesitate to wear T-Shirt with such labels as “NO FEAR”! According to the news I received, more than 94 Ahmadi Muslims have been Shaheed in the most recent attack – “Inna lillaahi wa inna ilayhi rajii-uun”. The Ahmadi Muslims have from all times suffered persecutions, but in 1974 these persecutions became all the more terrible and in 1984, the Ahmadi Muslims suffered from acts of violence made against them where lots of them lost life (which Allah made sacred) at the hands of the Mullahs and the police – all of them being accomplice in these atrocious persecutions, be it in the past and even till today. These evil-doers, have they not witnessed what happened to Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto when he went against the Ahmadi Muslims and after him, what happened to Zia-ul-Haq? The body of Zia-ul-Haq even disappeared, save for his false teeth. Nothing remained from him to make a proper funeral. Allah has already removed His light from these evil-doers; they have become dumb, deaf and blind. As for us members of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam, we have observed a three-day mourning, where we made lots of invocations, additional prayers and long prostration and sobbing in front of our Lord, and during and after these three days, we did not remain idle; we used our pen to make Jihad (religious war). What has surprised me, here, in Mauritius, no newspaper, radio and TV broadcast (MBC) talked about that incident, neither a minister, nor a deputy of the national assembly. In the absence of the Prime Minister from the country, the Vice-Prime Minister who is a so-called Muslim did not say anything, and afterwards he has the nerve to say that he is a minister for all people, be it the majority and minority. These words when he uttered them were only superficial words – only on the lips! But we are in no need of these people; Allah is sufficient for us as our Helper for He is the Creator of the universe and is aware of the injustice which has happened. Allah (Glory be to Him) made us see their true faces, double-language, and I, as the Khalifatullah of this era, I will not remain silent on this issue. All of us here, with the help of Allah (Glory be to Him) we shall do our Jihad with them, and there will be such severe warnings coming from Allah against the General Director of the MBC also. Perhaps he is under pressure from the majority of Muslims here to sabotage these news events (sad ones) received from Pakistan. Bear in mind this saying: Nobody will die for as long as the heavens do not decide the time of our death. It is in our death that there is life. Even if these evil-doers do everything in their power to remove the Shahada from the Mosques, or kill us, but what there is in our heart they cannot erase: ‘Laa Ilaaha Illallah.’  Islam presents a living God Who listens to the prayers of His devotees and has given proofs of this fact in every age. He reveals Himself to His true votaries by accepting their prayers and consoles them in hour of distress by speaking to them words of comfort. How encouraging and hope-raising are the Quranic words: “And when My servants ask you about Me, say, I am near. I answer the prayer of the supplicant when he prays to me.” (2: 187). Other religions hold out no such promise in their followers. Let them cry hoarse, the Quran says, their false gods will never answer their prayers because they do not possess any such power. Of what use, then, is that deity which is deaf and dumb and hears and answers not the agonised cries of its votaries? Forging lies about God, or removing Shahada (Kalima Tayyeba) from the Mosque, killing people who were performing Jummah in the Mosque (which happened Friday last – 28 May 2010 in Pakistan), being a fatal poison is bound to bring about the spiritual death and destruction of the forger. The verse “Sufficient is He for a Witness between me and you” (46: 9) signify that: if I am a forger of lies against God, He would not let me go unpunished, but if you reject the message of truth, you too will have to suffer the evil consequences of your rejection. One of the great impediments that stand in the way of truth being accepted by the disbelievers and evil-doers (Zaalims) is conceit and arrogance. Since it is the poor people and those not high placed in life and generally not conversant with current material sciences, who first accept the Divine Message, the so-called learned and wealthy people regard it beneath their dignity to associate themselves with the humble and lowly believers. The Holy Quran depicts conceited and arrogant evil-doers (the Zaalims) as saying to believe, that if there had been any good in the new teaching, they (the evil-doers, especially the Mullahs) who were better placed in life and possessed better knowledge, could not have been outstripped by the former in accepting it, and that, as it was an old, old lie, they could not accept it. What fear or grief, even under the severest trial, can possibly disturb the equanimity (calm temperament) and mental poise of a true believer, who possesses an invincible faith that Allah, the Creator and Lord of the whole universe, is at his back? It is this certain faith that has caused the faithful in all ages to lay down their lives smilingly in the cause of Truth. Such believers in the Quran have been called doers of good. They abide in the Garden of heavenly bliss and bask in the sun of God’s love. All the works, good or evil, of the two classes of men will be properly judged and weighed, and, while being requited, their motives and intentions and all relevant circumstances will be taken into consideration, as the Divine law of compensation works in this way that whereas the reward of a good deed is many times greater than the deed itself, the punishment of the evil deed is proportionate to the deed committed. When confronted with the consequences of their evil deeds, the evil-doers will be told on the Day of Reckoning that as they had fully exploited and drained to dregs the material gifts that God had bestowed upon them and had used them not in the service of good causes but to further their own sordid ends, they should be prepared to suffer disgrace and ignominy as a fit requital for their misdeeds. Pakistani people pretend they are highly powerful, more intelligent than other peoples especially in religious matters and they think that they are cultured people. They also pretend to have specialised themselves in many fields and as a result, along with some fanatic Mullahs, many Pakistani have rejected the Promised Messiah (on him be peace) and they have closed the door of prophethood and divine revelations, and they have since long been persecuting the Ahmadi Muslims brothers, sisters and children, because, the latter believe in the Promised Messiah (on him be peace) and divine revelations. Since 1974, the Government of Pakistan has passed a law that Ahmadi people are not Muslims, and thus have no right whatsoever to profess their faith; even to call to prayer by reciting the Azaan and reciting the Shahada. The Government of Pakistan together with the Mullahs, by their wicked and immoral deeds, they will be destroyed by a violent destruction, Insha-Allah. Their chief cities will be buried under heaps of sand and dust. This is the prophecy which I the Khalifatullah of this era am saying about you people (the Pakistani Government and Mullahs) that if you do not change and repent, and also if you do not remove the laws you passed against the Ahmadi Muslims (as being non-Muslims) as from 1974, then this prophecy of mine will come to materialise. When confronted with the consequences of your evil deeds, you the Zaalims will be told on the Day of Reckoning that as you had fully exploited and drained to dregs the material gifts that God had bestowed upon you and you have used them not in the service of good causes but to further your own evil ends, then be prepared to suffer disgrace and ignominy as a fit payback for your misdeeds. I warn you at the same time what you have done with our Ahmadi Muslims brothers, sisters and children, that divine punishment is sure to overtake you all and that if you have some wisdom left with you, you should repent excessively because the rejection of divine message never goes unpunished. I am still waiting for your reply on the Mubahila which I sent out to you on the 29 May 2010, so that truth may become manifest, you who so proudly think that you are the ones on the right path, come forward if you think you are in the right path; come and sign the Mubahila which I invited you to. Allah indeed knows your evil schemes and your reject of the divine messages. Come forward so that the world may come to see clearly that truth cannot be murdered, but is won through a pure and sincere heart. Verily, I see you to be a very ignorant people. Your ignorance and arrogance can never help you (fanatic Mullahs and the Government of Pakistan) in the time of need while the True Almighty God comes to the rescue of His servants when they are in distress and call for His help. You believe or not believe; I am a Divine Reformer. People who will follow my advice, will be cleansed of sins and impurities and become a model of virtue and righteousness through the teachings revealed to me and by the ennobling example. Try to understand that, the Divine Reformer does eventually succeed in his mission as it is God’s unalterable decree and law that Truth must prevail and falsehood must come to an evil end. The Zaalims cannot alter this Divine decree, try as they might. The gods which they adore leave them in the lurch when they are confronted with the consequences of their wicked deeds. The creation of new heavens and earth has not ceased. Neither is it an empty and unsubstantiated claim. With the coming of a Divine Reformer the plots of the evil Mullahs dies and a new era of divine manifestations and religious works takes its place. The creation of the heavens and earth is intended to serve an eternal purpose which is to serve man who is, God’s noblest handiwork, and the aim and object of whose life is to develop in himself Divine attributes. For the attainment by man of this grand and sublime object, God raised and continue to raise His Messengers in all times and among all peoples. The aims and object of war according to Islam – since it requires very sincere and honest adherence to a cause to imperil one’s life, honour, or property for it, war, which puts to test one’s sincerity or true adherence to a cause, was enjoined upon Muslims in self-defence so that true and sincere believers might be distinguished from the hypocrites and those weak of faith. Whereas, the believers welcome a revelation enjoining them to fight in the way of Allah, for it is in fighting that the real mettle of a man is tested, the Zaalims and the hypocrites feel as if they are being driven to death. Thus true believers are separated and sifted out from those who are insincere or false in the profession of their faith. In the time of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him), when the true Muslim believers were engaged in regular battle in the defence of their faith, honour, lives or property, the Muslims were enjoined to fight bravely and relentlessly, giving no quarter, and expecting none from the enemy, and not to flee from the field of battle under lame or weak excuses. They must either win or die. “He who turns his back to the enemy”, says the Quran, “draws upon himself the wrath of Allah.” (8: 13-17). When war is started, it should continue till peace is established and freedom of conscience secured (8: 40). Allah possesses the power to punish the enemies of Truth without the instrumentality of Muslims but He got the latter engaged in fighting with the Zaalims so that on the one hand their own good qualities of character should have an opportunity to come into play and on the other hand, the bad qualities of the Zaalims should become exposed. The words “And those who are killed in the way of Allah – He will never render their works vain.” (47: 5) – O my brothers, sisters and children of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam, the sacrifice slain in the field of battle would never be wasted. It will be your sacrifice that firmly will lay the foundation of a bright future for Islam, so follow the right path till one reaches one’s destination and achieves the object of one’s quest, that the martyrdom of Sahih Al Islam will be achieved (Insha-Allah), that is, by your death for the cause of Allah, the object for which you will give your lives which will attain God’s pleasure and to make Islam secure and strong. Insha-Allah, Ameen. We have also heard the sad news of the murder of our Ahmadi brother Rehmatullah in Pakistan. As for the fifth Caliph, it is sad to see that he is doing nothing to comfort the Ahmadi Muslims worldwide. Even the other Ahmadi Muslims under his leadership are being conscious of the fact. An example of it is from the following letter from a Khadim of Lahore, Pakistan who wrote about his feelings about this whole matter: “Dear Hazur, Where are you? Six days have passed, and we as a jamat have gone through very difficult times. Every time I switch on MTA, I hope that my beloved hazur will address us, to share our pain and to express his feelings but you were never there. Since my childhood, I was told that we must love hazur more than our own parents and how much hazur cares about every member of jamat. But in the last 6 days you have not come to MTA to give us any message. People say that punjab goverment ministers have not come to our mosque to offer their condolences but we have not heard from you either. All you did was that you issued a press release. If you love us more than our own parents then do you need a press release to talk to us. What is MTA for? In your khutba tomorrow, you will most probably ‘read’ about Lahore incident and you may connect cyclone Phet and hunza lake disaster to the Lahore incident but what we needed most from you was an expression of your feelings in simple words without any editing done by your khutba writers. From …. A broken heart, an ahmedi khadim from Lahore” A press release or a Friday Sermon is not sufficient to comfort the bereaved Ahmadi Muslims around the world. As the teachings of the Promised Messiah has been trampled to dust, Allah has raised this humble one in this era to bring back the treasures of Islam to its perfection (in intention and deeds) for the benefit of our own souls. I advise you (the Sahih Al Islam) to invoke Allah with this prayer be it at night or during the day, against these Zaalims and Kaafirs : Yaa Rabbi fasma’ duaa-ie wa mazziq a’daa’ aka wa a’daa-ie wa anjiz wa’daka wansur abdaka wa arinaa ayyaa maka wa shah-hir lanaa husaa-maka wa laa tadhar minal Kaafi-reena wal Zaalimiina shareera. O my Lord, listen to my prayers and cut my opponents into pieces. Acknowledge your promise and help your servant to witness the days of victory, take the matter in Your hands and do not spare any mischievous disbelievers and evil-doers. Ameen. May Allah guide all Sahih Al Islam, Ahmadi Muslims and all other Muslims Worldwide to realise of the imperativeness of the situation and to act upon the commandments of Allah by not turning their backs to the divine message in this era for the revival of Islam, for the salvation of one and all.
