Friday Sermon
HADHRAT AMIR’UL MUMINEEN MUHYI-UD-DIN
Munir Ahmad Azim
11 April 2014 ~ (10 Jamad’ul Akhir 1435 Hijri)
(Summary of Friday Sermon)
After having greeted all his followers (and all Muslims) round the world – mentioning the nearby islands, India, Kerala, Trinidad and Tobago etc. – with the Salutations of Peace, Hazrat Muhyi-ud-Din (atba) read the Tashahhud, Taouz and Surah Al Fatiha and then said:
At such a critical time, in this era, Allah (swt) had enabled one of the believers of Hazrat Muhammad (saw) and Hazrat Massih Ma’ud (as) to be raised with such a Jamaat, Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam to defend Islam, fight injustice and answer satisfactory the questions of the non-Muslims I come across concerning my claim as Muhyi-ud-Din, Khalifatullah etc. My enemies and the hypocrites got furious and in their rage which was quite out of proportion, they hurled abuses on me and dubbed me a drug addict, sorcerer, mischief-maker, dog, pig, liar and all sorts of names. My enemies even prepared a fatwa (religious decree to declare me a Kafir and false prophet). Alhamdulillah, Summa Alhamdulillah.
I do not see anything strange in it because that is what has always been done to godly people. It is only after some time has passed that their true position is recognized. I do not mind the fatwas of kufr and all sorts of names that are being issued against me, because through all these kinds of hardships, the people are only wronging their own souls, not the elect of Allah. The more they try to afflict me with their evil intents and deeds, the more Allah (swt) uses me to serve His religion and through this humble self He is able to establish the excellence of the Holy Prophet (saw), the Promised Messiah (as), and that of the Holy Quran. I am of course only a like recipient in the hands of Allah. He does whatever He likes with this humble self, for when Allah chooses someone for His mission, then that being is wholly for Allah, and acts as per the will of Allah and everything that he does is through the permission and instruction of Allah. Everything has its measure with Allah. Every being has certain specific works to accomplish, as with the human messengers of Allah and also the angel messengers of Allah.
Alhamdulillah, in my Friday Sermon today and next Friday also Insha-Allah, I want to explain the excellence of Islam, the prophetic revelations, the angels and their function.
I give a reply to those who are engrossed in the modern philosophy and raise their eyebrows on the teachings of Islam. So people, we need to ponder on how to become good Muslims and what could a man (or woman) do to attain to that position. Islam is a living religion and assures the Muslims that the days of the victory of Islam are at hand.
There are many seekers of truth out there in the world, and the moment they accept Islam they become the recipient of the blessings of God. Their lives change for the better in as concerning their material and spiritual lives. At the start, this proves to be difficult and hard to attain – that ideal which Islam promotes and invites to – but nothing is gained without sacrifices, efforts and a good intention for the fulfilment of tasks as wills Allah for all Muslims who declare that they believe and have faith in Allah, the divine commandments and all tenets and pillars of Islam.
I have been commissioned by Allah to call upon all the Maulvis and Muftis and others enemies and hypocrites who have called me of all sort of names, because of their partial difference, because they have full of hated or because they have not been able to understand my claim, so pray to Allah (swt) with a lots of devotion and sincerity to know, who is on the right and who is not. I can assure those who have believed in me, who are considering belief in the truthfulness of this humble self or who will believe in me in future that their end would be a blessed one and they would not be losers at all. This world is limited and temporary whereas the real gain, the real dividend, the real harvest, the real reward is an eternal one which Allah offers you, not only in this world but also in the hereafter. Such favours which have no end, and wherein you shall live in peace, harmony and deep attachment to the Lord of the worlds, who is really the real goal of a true seeker of truth, a true servant of Allah.
Every person who believes in any of the revealed religion, must also believe that God (Allah) has, at different times, sent various prophets to the world, and that no nation has been left without a messenger of God, even here in this small Island, Mauritius which is also an African country (despite being separated from the continent as an island) where the population is roughly 1 million 300 hundred thousand. Allah (swt) has blessed this small Island with His Khalifatullah, a caliph, messenger chosen by Allah, because after India accepted and established the mission of the Promised Messiah (as), after which came England, then the second country to have accepted and established the mission of the advent of the Promised Messiah (as) is none other than Mauritius in 1915 and Mauritius is a multi-cultural country where many representation of the main religions of the world live in this small island.
The spiritual evolution of mankind is due entirely to this class of persons, and but for them there would have been nothing but darkness in the world had Allah not sent among them His elect. In the Holy Quran Allah (swt) says: “There has been no people unvisited by a Warner”.
If we try to discover the object for which the divine prophets were sent, we shall find that the cause of their advent has always been the spiritual corruption of their peoples and mankind and the cessation of all direct relations with God. These prophets always appear like rain-laden clouds which refresh and re-quicken the earth after a long season of drought. We hold the belief that this succession of prophets will continue in the future as it has been done in the past, for reason repudiates a permanent cessation of it. The door of revelation has ever remained open and will continue to remain open, and the present age bears emphatic testimony to the need of a divine prophet, from among the promised reformers and upholders of faith of the last days. But we do not base our belief on the testimony of the age alone, we are also supported by the testimony of the previous prophets. The task for which God has appointed me is, that I should re-establish in the hearts of the people love and devotion to God, and this humble one should acquaint mankind with the spiritual truths which he had forgotten, and above all that I should permanently re-establish that bright and pure unity of God, purified from all polytheistic ideas which had entirely disappeared from the hearts of men. God has sent me to reform this sad plight and to lead mankind back to his pure unity. Men talk of God and of spirituality but their hearts are filled with the love of this world.
All of you shall agree with me that the world these days is sure in need of a guide with perception and divine succour who should lead mankind, out of doubt and misgiving, to belief and certainty. If mankind was ever in need of a prophet, he is much more in need of one today, when religion has become an empty phrase and truth is, as it is, in some parts of the world in comatose and in other parts of the world already dead.
A Messenger of Allah is needed who comes from Allah, confirming the true teachings and past divine messengers and reformers and who establishes himself firmly to protect the honour of God’s envoys and elects along with preserving the teachings of God and deliver the message clearly. I have not come to label as liar my predecessors to establish myself on their claims. Indeed I came, confirming their truthfulness and forming the solid chain of divine elects whose beads shall continue to be added again and again until the Day of Judgement, and all of them shall confirm one another, not be against one another. This is also one of the ways to identify the truthfulness of a claimant of divine revelations and mission nowadays. I stop here for now. Insha-Allah, I will continue this sermon next Friday.
May Allah save mankind and enable the people to perceive the light of truth of His prophets and messengers, such reformers within the Ummah of His beloved prophet Hazrat Muhammad (saw) as to prove the high status of that glorious man and prophet in the eyes of the world until the Day of Judgement. And may preserve His alliance with His prophets and enable the people of the world to gather together as one entity for His worship. Insha-Allah, Ameen. |
