Friday Sermon
HADHRAT AMIR’UL MUMINEEN MUHYI-UD-DIN
Munir Ahmad Azim
(01 Dhul-Hijjah 1435 Hijri)
(Summary of Friday Sermon)
After having greeted all his followers (and all Muslims) round the world – mentioning Reunion Island and the other nearby islands, India, Kerala, Trinidad and Tobago etc. – with the Salutations of Peace, Hazrat Muhyi-ud-Din (atba) read the Tashahhud, Taouz and Surah Al Fatiha and then said:
I thank my Rab that He has given me by His immense grace the golden opportunity to continue the sermon which I started last Friday, and verily without the grace, favour and Ilm (Knowledge) of my creator, I could not have addressed you today on this subject. Indeed the blessings and favours of my Rab are like a never-ending ocean which emerge from my heart to call out to you to purify your hearts in it, to let them be full of the light of Allah which descends upon each one of you so that you also may benefit from this extraordinary light and blessings. Insha-Allah.
Indeed without the help and guidance of Allah, without His support and tutoring and His increasing my knowledge to carry on this noble work, nothing would have been possible. It is really difficult to explain to people how my Rab helps me and guides me, how He has chosen me in this era as His Khalifa, not elected by men, but chosen by Allah Himself. So I thank again my Rab and I continue on the same topic of my sermon of last Friday.
Our beloved prophet (pbuh) is reported to have said: “Do not be envious of one another; do not inflate prices by overbidding against one another; do not hate one another; do not turn away from one another; do not enter into commercial transaction when others have entered into that (transaction); but be you, O slaves of Allah, as brothers. A Muslim is a brother of another Muslim; he neither oppresses him, nor does he lie to him, nor does he look down upon or humiliate him. Piety (Taqwa) is here (and he pointed to his chest three times). It is evil enough for a Muslim to humiliate his brother. All things of a Muslim are sacred for his brother-in-faith: his blood, his property, and his honour.” (Muslim)
It is very strange that despite him mentioning this to his companions and Ummah, these very instructions being in both Quran and Sunnah, despite being Muslims, especially the so-called defenders of Islam and Ahmadiyyat they do not follow these clear instructions and commandments. The Jamaat Ahmadiyya who should have been a model for the other Muslims have also fallen prey to the unislamic ways, just like the other Muslims fell prey to the allures of the worldly and unislamic way of life. It is my prayer that my sincere disciples and followers do not fall prey to the traps of the satans who lurk in the alleys of Islam to try to deviate them from the right path and to separate them from their brothers and sisters in faith. May Allah protect you all from this, Ameen.
It is very sad what is happening in the administrations of the several Jamaats in Islam, including the Jamaat Ahmadiyya. There are so-called defenders of Ahmadiyyat who do not practice what they talk/preach. Many cheat their brothers in faith. If at the head, in the administration there is no such respect for the divine commands and the instructions of the Holy Prophet of Islam (pbuh), then imagine what state will both the Ummah of Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh) in general and the Jamaat Ahmadiyya in particular be if they do not comply with the Islamic code of life! Now imagine this is happening in the headquarters of the Jamaat Ahmadiyya, then do you think that the administration at local level (Mauritius) be spared when there is no true guidance? There are many who show that they are pious, but they verily they have cheated their Ahmadi brothers. I know many such people. Now, if such is the state of the Jamaat Ahmadiyya in Mauritius, then imagine what is happening at world level! It is a pity that the representatives of the Khalifatul-Massih who show themselves to have Taqwa but they “take without asking for permission” the hard-earned contributions (like Zakaat, Chanda, Tarik-e-Jadid etc.) of Ahmadi brothers and sisters. Moreover, they do not hesitate to deprive their workers of their salary. I am in a position to say this because I went through the same difficult situation when as a worker of the Jamaat Ahmadiyya since 1987-2000, the Jamaat Ahmadiyya of Mauritius along with its so-called Amir refused to pay me my salary and length of service, a right which every worker is entitled to. 14 years have now gone by without them respecting their engagement and reimbursing this debt. According to the divine laws and the teachings of our beloved prophet (pbuh) and also according to the laws of the country they should have by now respect my rights and their engagement but till now they have not acted in the spirit of true Muslims to pay the worker of the Jamaat who has given years of his life (being also a means to earn my living) to work as driver for the Jamaat. And adding to this, they have the guts to apply boycott when both in the eyes of Allah and the eyes of the mundane law this treatment and non-payment of salary etc. is illegal. Not only did the fourth Khalifa make the deaf on this issue, but the fifth Khalifa also is following the same unislamic example. Like Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh) said, a true Muslim is he who protects the honour and property of his brother. Moreover, our beloved master (pbuh) has also preached that before the sweat of a worker dries on him, he is to be paid in full his due/wages.
There are also like I mentioned Ahmadi Muslims who have robbed Jamaat money and there are other Ahmadi brothers who have cheated their brother and they are still in the Jamaat, and no Boycott is applied to them. They are still in the Jamaat and are invited in many functions. When such evil works are exposed, yet the real culprits are still honoured in the Jamaat Ahmadiyya, whereas when at the beginning of the Divine Manifestation in Mauritius, this humble self and Zafrullah Domun Sahib who has noted a lot of my revelations informed the Khalifa of the time (Hazrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad) about the fact that Allah is communicating with this humble self, then just because Allah is talking with me, evil plots have been organised so that to put Munir Azim and Zafrullah Domun out of the way. Perhaps they feared that I was a menace for the institution of the man-elected caliphate which is now managed by hearts now devoid of Taqwa. Just imagine that a Khalifa along with his administrative body did not hesitate to send curse on us just because of the fact that Allah has chosen to talk to this humble self.
Divine revelations, the light of the heart and soul of man for his true revival is according to them illicit, daring whereas cheating and robbing others of money is licit and tolerable in the new age Jamaat Ahmadiyya. Our ancestors, true Ahmadi Muslims have sacrificed a lot to bring the Jamaat Ahmadiyya to a position of honour by the grace and mighty help of Allah, but then the new generation of Ahmadis have not hesitated to put down this honour and have turned the teachings of Islam, as taught by both the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and revived by the Promised Messiah Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) upside down. Long ago, we used to argue that the rest of the Muslims were in error when they denied the truthfulness and revival of Islam as brought by the Promised Messiah (as), yet now when Allah has sent His another Messiah, the same people who have long preached that the door of revelations shall remain open till the day of judgement, those same people have turned their backs to Allah’s new elect, reviver of faith, caliph, messiah and messenger.
From a pure heart turned to rust, to a rusty heart turned to gold, the gold is now thrown to the hottest of fires to be burnt so that no trace of Taqwa can be found. But the plan of Allah Oh my dear brothers and sisters is really wonderful. The divinely operated mastermind cannot be commanded by anyone. No man in the power of man can contest the power of Allah and His plan. No one can command Allah, not to send another messenger. Allah will keep on sending His messengers whenever He sees that the world needs them. The heart is then revived by the pure water coming down from the heavens, which teaches man what he did not know and also what he already knew but had tried to hide it from his sight and mind so as not to feel guilty of abandoning the ways of Allah. They prefer to put the teachings of Allah in a distant corner of their heart, make the deaf and blind and go on with their lives as if they shall live eternally on earth.
Now imagine what is happening in the Muslim world. I can keep on giving many such examples with proof, but this is not the subject of my sermon today. But what I have to say is that the consequences of these people shall be grievous. Verily, little by little we are witnessing how Allah is bringing them to their destruction like He promised, without them realising what is happening to them. Allah shall continue to pour down His destruction upon them – divine punishment – for the way they behaved with, plotted against and labelled His Messenger. Those who have acted treacherously with this humble self, Allah shall deteriorate their health, those receiving big wages, Allah shall deprive them from blessings in those wages. These people talk “Love for All, Hatred for None” whereas their heart is full of hatred and refuse to open themselves to the divine light and true love and brotherhood. Allah has informed me through His revelations that He shall deal with them vigorously for the way they behaved and plotted against me, for the dishonest way they acted on every front: mundane (work) and spiritual. Allah has reassured me that those so-called Ahmadi Muslims, so-called defenders of Islam and Ahmadiyyat in complicity with the man-elected Khalifa and his administrative body, those who arrogantly boast on the grandeur of their family names and honour etc., if they do not repent, retract from their evil ways and reform their lives, and accept the divine truth and messenger, Allah shall cause them to fall from such heights and their ultimate destination shall be complete destruction. The day is coming when Allah shall bring about that destruction.
It is my humble prayer to my Rab, my Allah that He enables all members of my Jamaat, the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam to reflect truly the teachings of Islam, and to live honestly with their brothers in faith with their hearts full of love and brotherhood, and not with jealousy, because jealousy is an armament of the satans to cause division among Muslims and to lead them to their loss. May Allah preserve my disciples and followers from such evil-mindedness and spiritual destruction. Ameen.
Therefore, Oh my brothers and sisters in every part of the countries where the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam has been established, strive to obey your Amirs, show total obedience to your Amirs when it is with Taqwa that they are striving to lead you in the right way and under my supervision. The Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam must live like one family, one body. If you follow the lead of those who strive to lead you to your loss, then let me tell you that you shall be very unfortunate and losers and you shall suffer a lot of humiliation. I pray that this does not happen in our Jamaat. I ask all Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam Amirs in all countries to always respect the rights of workers, be them common workers or workers of the Jamaat and pay them their salary in full, and all given words must be respected and debts cleared as soon as possible. All of you are brothers, and each of you must be precious to his brother/sister in faith. Do not ever hurt the feelings of your brothers/sisters. Strive to pass on the message of Islam in an Islamic way, and do not approach the unislamic ways to communicate Islam and the message of our Jamaat to others (for example, on the internet, in such sites like facebook etc. – Dawah must be done properly without any innovation or alluring music in Islamic prayers or words. On Facebook there are such Qaseedas which have been transformed into modern songs with the name of Allah and His Rasul which are accompanied with music and drum. This is not Islamic at all! This gives a wrong image of a Sahih al Islam to others. So I advice members of my Jamaat around the world to remove from their Facebook/Internet accounts all materials which gives a bad name to Islam and to our Jamaat also in the presence of a Messenger of Allah.
As the Khalifatullah of this era, I appreciate that efforts are being made to spread the divine message of this era to other people, even through Facebook, but it should be done in an Islamic way. Do a good work which shall make Allah pleased with you and do not seek to attract the wrath of Allah upon you. Insha-Allah.
Moreover, my dear ones, always be ready to help others. Do not be afraid that when you will help others, you will become poor. No! Verily, when the intentions are pure, verily it is Allah who shall open the way for all of you and Insha-Allah, the treasury of our Jamaat shall be full so that we may fulfil our Jamaat projects with the blessings and mighty help of Allah. The fruits of patience are indeed sweet in the long run. Such sweetness which shall appeal to others also, Insha-Allah. May Allah remove the blindness of the spiritually blind and bring them to witness the miraculous recovery of their inner eye, the pumping heart which pumps only for Allah, for the accomplishment of His commandments. Insha-Allah.
Continuing on the subject of my sermon: Verily the signs of Taqwa (piety) are that the believer obeys the commands of Allah, and stays away from the prohibitions of Shariah. “And whoso honours the symbols of Allah, it is surely from the devotion (piety) of the hearts.” (22: 33).
It is reported in a Hadith-e-Qudsi that Allah says: “Sincerity is a secret from among My secrets which I deposit in the hearts of My favoured servants.” Remember, the softness and good nature of the heart is a means of success in the field of Dawah and Tabligh. Allah the Almighty addresses the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in the Holy Quran.
“Thus it is due to mercy from Allah that you deal with them gently, and had you been rough, hard hearted, they would certainly have dispersed from around you” (3: 159).
To close for today the second part of my sermon, I pray that Allah the Almighty gives me the Tawfiq to continue my Friday Sermon on the same subject the week after the Eid-ul-Adha. I end with this prayer to Allah, and I ask all my disciples round the world to recite this prayer also. Insha-Allah.
“Oh Allah, I ask of You what shall please You, and I seek refuge in You from what displeases You; I supplicate You to cleanse me from all my sins, to purify me of my faults and examine my heart and instil therein piety in every place, Oh the One who overlooks the weaknesses of sinners.” Ameen. |
