A pure heart is a state achieved through piety, trust in Allah Almighty, praise of His sole sovereignty and Lordship and devout sincerity within one's actions. Otherwise your heart will prevent you from accomplishing what you intend.
The heart is like a bird in a cage; its constitution is like a jewel in a box, a treasure in a safe. The emphasis should be given to the bird not the cage, the jewel not the box, the treasure, not the safe.
Our Lord! Keep our hearts constantly obeying Thy commands Night or day, make us wholly engaged in your service Gather us in the company of the righteous Those who served Thee before us Grant us sustenance as they received Be unto us as Thou were unto them. |
