THE WORLD IS NOT OUR HOME

This universe is unstable and perishable. It is continually changing. It will not be tomorrow as it is today. There is no stability in this world and in Jamaat Ahmadiyya worldwide. It is the land of death, and like a house of sand it can be destroyed at any time.

 

Whatever is seen here is some day going to perish. Only my Rab will still alive, everything will destroy. Every object in the universe is short-lived; kings, political leaders, spiritual leaders, houses, palaces, those who dwell in them, all the objects of the universe, gold and silver and their wearers, this body, clothes, men and women, all are perishable. The people have forgotten my Lord (Rab), my Allah because of these entanglements. No one really deserves to be loved here. Many have gone, some are going and the rest are ready to go.

 

Neither wealth, wife, riches, house nor anything else will accompany us.

Know this for certain. We see people die everyday, but live in the hope that we will live for ever.

What can be more strange? These things, people does not realise,

They pretend superior than the others and they mock by telling how stupid you are

And believe in so-call Revelation, they do not realise that you are a guest for the night,

But hope to live for ages.

The powers, houses and riches, which you see, are like the shade, cast by a tree,

Which is constantly moving.

 

He who remembers death remains free from the bondage of the world and cannot do any evil action. Human birth is an opportunity for meeting my Rab, my Allah. He who does not engage in devotion to my Rab (Lord) and does not practice the Sunnah of my Beloved Prophet (s.a.w) wastes his life. Human birth is rare. Do not waste it. Spend it in zikr, prayer, help the poor and needy person, all this is the devotion to my Allah, my Rab (Lord).

 

In this perishable body only the soul is real and immortal and one should care for it with true devotion.
